Monthly Competition

The next monthly competition starts at 7.00pm on Monday 19th November 2001

The competition ends at the close of trading on the last trading day before the next meeting.

Members can select as many shares as they wish before the start of the competition with a view to picking the best performing share during the period of the competition and will pay an entry fee of £10 / selected share.

All shares selected must be traded on the London Markets.

Winner take all.

The winner will be the share showing the greatest percentage rise on mid price either:

  1. From the start to the close of the competition or
  2. From the start of the competition until such time as the participant elects to dispose of the share in order to take advantage of prevailing prices. Any decision to dispose of a share must be communicated to Gordon Davison or Trevor Hardaker either by telephone, email or in person. The mid price of the share at the agreed time of disposal will be used to calculate the percentage increase in its value.
